Hi everyone!
It's been a while since the last Steam update, and we wanted to let you know about the progress the game has made over the past few months.
Environments: We've made a lot of progress on the art for all of the game's environments; all now feature new, updated art. There's still work to be done on the decor and atmosphere, which will be added in the final weeks of polishing the game.
New Attacks: We've been adding new attacks for Alys and reworking some of her existing moves. We're aiming to have a comprehensive combat system that allows all players to discover the way to fight that best suits their tastes.
Cinematics: We've started working on some of the game's most important cinematics, opting for in-game cinematics to reflect SoulQuest's story as intensely and deeply as possible during its most important moments.
Enemies & Bosses: Most of the work on both enemies and bosses is already complete. We're currently finalizing work on the final boss and the Kickstarter boss. These new threats will be revealed over time in trailers we're preparing leading up to the game's launch.
We're working very hard to finish the remaining content and polish the game to get to launch in the best possible shape. We're already in the home stretch!
I want to personally thank you all for your support of SoulQuest. None of this would have been possible without you. It's been over six years since I started working on the game, and it's hard for me to believe we're finally so close to completing the game!
