Hi! Everyone! It's been a while.
SoulQuest development has been coming up pretty smoothly in the last months. I'm happy to say that more announcements will be coming shortly regarding SoulQuest release, but in the meantime, I made an update to the game's demo with some new stuff and tweaks to the movement and combat momentum.
Changes made:
- Fixed Xbox Wireless controls not being recognized.
- Changed the layout of the cave levels to reflect more of how they will be played out in the final release.
- Added a new lighting system that can be turned on/off in the menus.
- Added 2 new combat moves for Alys to buy in the Abanus store.
- Added "Abanus Wardrobe" where players can submit codes to change their color palettes and pets' appearance.
- Added a training mode accessible through Abanus Bed.
- Added more friction to Alys' movement during combat.
- WallJumping has been revamped.
- Added pop-up tutorials.
- Changed the splash screen art.
- Corrected some misspelling errors.
Also, SoulQuest is currently present at Gamescom right now!
