Orst-III Mace

A hefty mace in the midst of the Ode'n refinement process.

A handle of entwined synthetics flow gracefully into jagged Ode'n steel. In search of the most efficacious designs for their weapons, the performance of countless prototypes in battle are measured against one another. Every variant of Orst witnessed differs from the last, disparate bludgeons forged in search of uniform truth.

This new class of heavy weapons will share a Weapon Type and Combat Arts with Greatswords, now renamed to "Heavy".

Seek out and defeat Sinecure Errant-Gawth, or similar mace-wielding Bannerettes to acquire.

However, this Weapon is only the first of a new approach to your arms, Envoy. Should you defeat the Sinecure you will acquire it in full instead of in the form of Fragments. Orst-III can drop with variable Quality and Tempers, which augment the Weapon with additional properties, such as increased Heavy Attack damage, Stagger, or even added Voltaic Damage.

But more than just Maces await you, Envoy.

Virtue Rework

Virtue Prisms are being removed. Using the new Virtue Lith, you can now allocate your Virtues as you see fit between Courage, Spirit, and Grace. Fine-tune your Virtues to best fit your equipment, Pact and playstyle, Envoys!

All Envoys with Virtue Prisms before this update have been given five Virtue Liths to start with, plus three additional Virtue Liths for each previously owned Virtue Prism, excluding starting Prisms. You can acquire more as a reward from defeating the Agari or the Siege of Fort Curlail.

Additionally:

Rune Activation keybind for keyboard and mouse

New encounters and points of interest across Midrath

Inventory Changes — a shared bag for all your gear to grant more storage in anticipation of a wider loot overhaul in future Preludes updates.

The team is looking forward to hearing from you about these changes and will continue to hotfix to address issues. Read the full details in our Patch Notes!
