Soulforge: Lost Path is participating in Steam Next Fest!
Hello everyone, this is the Soulforge: Lost Path development team.
We’re excited to take part in Steam Next Fest! To prepare for the event, we’ve rolled out two major updates featuring extensive optimizations, new content, and overall gameplay improvements.
Controller support is now fully available in-game.

Major Update 1 New Content New In-Run Items
Purification Scroll A powerful screen-clearing item that deals massive damage to all enemies on screen.
Spear Lance A mobility-focused item. Dashing now creates a spectral spear in front of you, striking enemies along its path.
Loop Launcher (Super Weapon) Flasks no longer land randomly. Instead, they now drop in a controlled clockwise circular pattern.
New “Choose One of Three” Options
Apothecary Each time you use an active item, your max HP increases by 10%.
Nitro Pump Each time you use an active item, gain +2 Strength.
Spite Flask Throw a virus-filled flask that explodes on impact, leaving a toxic cloud that damages enemies and may inflict Disease.
New Meta Talents
Stitch Refund When crafting backpack slots, there is a 1% chance to refund an extra Backpack Fragment.
Minecart Expansion Increases minecart storage capacity by one full row.
System & Unlock Improvements
Shop Refresh System Shops now include a refresh function, allowing players to reroll available items.
Quality of Life & Balance Improved visual effects for several spells Rebalanced and fine-tuned multiple weapons and skills Fixed various bugs and improved overall stability Major Update 2 Gameplay & Controls
Manual Attack Hold left mouse button to switch to manual attack. Release to return to auto attack.
Defense Rework Defense now reduces incoming damage instead of providing flat protection.
Healing Rework Leveling up no longer restores HP. Instead, enemies may drop Herbs on defeat, and healing items have been significantly improved.
Weapons & Balance
Edgeless Blade Increased base damage.
Duskky Oath Reduced HP cost when casting skills.
Reward System Improvements Increased the effectiveness of several “Choose One of Three” rewards.
Monster Balance Adjustment Enemy attack power has been reduced across the board to improve early-game pacing and reduce frustrating deaths.
