Hey everyone! Thank you once again for your incredible support!
Finally, Introducing the Soulbound Legacy update. A final push from the original development team to update and polish Soulbound to the original vision!
It brings with it tons of new features, including achievements, updated visuals and Steam Remote Play, so you can finally cross souls with your friends online!
We’ll also be putting out some smaller bug fixes and tweaks in the near future, but this update squashes most of the known bugs from the original build.
🌟 Key Features Added
⏱️ New Visuals
We’ve refreshed the look of the game, updating some background visuals, character sprites and some animations, all with enhanced UI and effects, not to worry though, the classic visuals can still be found in survival mode for those of you who don't use dark mode!

Browse through detailed lore, stats, and backstories for all Soulbound characters. Along with this is included key information regarding enemy type, health points as well as a difficulty rating on how hard they are to play. Steam post image
🎮 Remote Play Support
You can now play Soulbound Legacy with friends via Steam Remote Play. Steam post image
🏆 Achievements
We’ve implemented 12 brand new Steam achievements to the game for you to show off your mastery!
🎯 Character Practice Ranges
Each character now has their own practice range to hone your skills before a match.
🎮 Full Controller Support / Steam Deck Verified

❤️ Soulbound Legacy: Supporter Pack
Alongside this update we’re also announcing the Soulbound Legacy: Supporter Pack.
The Supporter Pack will directly support the original Soulbound developers and includes tons of behind the scenes information about the development of Soulbound, and other cool digital goodies which shows everything it took to get here, including a development interview with Schmooving Studios!

Fixed tile duplication causing extra enemies
Fixed missing mouse cursor when using keyboard with a controller plugged in
Replaced old "How to Play" screen with clearer visuals
Fixed players unable to navigate back from selected menus
Main menu highlight colour now consistently red
Fixed enemy spawn issue in new tilesets
Fixed player not moving on game start
Fixed bug where a player in VS mode could possess two enemies simultaneously
Fixed enemies not giving the player score in survival mode
⚠️ Known Issues
We’re aware of a few lingering bugs and are already working on a small patch to address them shortly. In the meantime, if you run into any additional issues, please let us know!
