Recent Highlights: Patch Preview

The upcoming patch brings significant changes inspired by community feedback:

The campaign in Sons of Valhalla is being transformed to feature smaller, more focused raids with a new overview map displaying available control points. Each raid will take around 20 minutes, allowing for quicker, more intense battles. Players can earn resources like hack silver and gold from successful raids to upgrade units and equipment or regroup if defeated.

Unit management has been redesigned to give players greater control over their forces. Before each raid, players can purchase and assign units tailored to the target's fortifications, clearly indicating the challenge level on the map.

Skills, provisions, arrows, and mercenary units will be available in the upcoming update through a planned “shop” system. This new feature will include four distinct shop types, randomly distributed on the map at the start of the game:

General Shops: Planned to sell provisions and consumables, such as projectiles like arrows.
Armories: Expected to offer items granting skills, making them a key resource for enhancing your forces.
Mercenary AgentsIntended to allow players to hire specialized mercenary units through contracts, providing new strategic options.
ShipyardsDesigned to offer upgrades for ships, such as increased capacity to carry larger crews.
