Something Wicked Lies Beneath Weekly Development Update #1

changedFluffLast week, the steam store page for my game, Something Wicked Lies Beneath went live ( go wishlist now btw ). The game is still in a comical amount of early development, and I want to start giving updates on how development is going!
changedUpdateThe only eventful thing I've done so far is begin creation on the Starting Room ( the room you start in ) Here you can see The Objective Terminal, where youll be bringing the battery to in order to get your objective list. Ive took inspiration and modelled directly after old vintage technology like keyboards, data storage and the screens and little random details.

changedUpdateIve also gotten a basic layout of the Starting Room done aswell. Here you can see the main room where you will spawn and also acquire/complete objectives. Off to the side is a inaccessible security room, just for immersive flavor. The hallway leading up to the backside will be an airlock of sorts, and to further immersion, there is a closet on the otherside aswell.
changedPlans for next weekNext week I plan on completing the starting room and begin working on a more proper gameplay trailer. You may also see many small or large changes to the steam page itself.

This past week has been relatively uneventful, as I've been overwhelmed by excitement after getting the steam page up and running for the first time.

Update
