Something Meaningful changes
First things first: a huge thank you to every playtester who has been helping us find bugs and improve the game through our forms, Discord, and direct messages. Your feedback has been invaluable, and this update exists because of you.
What we fixed:
Fixed the gym quest bug that was revoking the achievement after completion
Fixed Steam achievements not displaying correctly
Fixed a launch issue on Linux where the game was failing to open due to a missing executable
You can no longer skate in the hotel bathroom (we admire the creativity, though)
Made some dialog instructions clearer on where and how to acquire certain items
Repositioned some assets to prevent players from getting stuck during exploration
Fixed a bug in the quest menu where hiding a completed quest was causing it to lose focus unexpectedly
Fixed controller and keyboard navigation in menus
Known issues:
The "getting late/pass out" notification may occasionally get stuck on screen (we're already working on it)
The dialogue choice menu may occasionally lose focus, causing an invisible option to be selected and requiring the player to scroll to regain control
A note on the story:
We've heard your thoughts on narrative depth, and we genuinely appreciate them. The full story will go much further than what's currently available and that's always been the plan. In this playtesting phase, however, our focus has been on refining core mechanics and interface before layering in more content. We want to make sure the foundation is solid first. A demo with significantly more content is coming soon. Thank you for being part of this process, it truly makes a difference.
