If you shared feedback through the online form, thank you! We're taking your ideas seriously, and have started testing some new features in response.
You can try 2 of these features in the latest playtest update:
A couple players commented on timing while moving in space. Sometimes it's hard to choose the right path in the narrow time window, so it would be good to have the option to slow things down temporarily.
When you're moving in space, you can now click and hold down to slow the flow of time. You can then drag to choose between different paths.
Players also noted how there are long waiting periods sometimes when moving around the solar system. These can get a bit boring.
To cut down on this a little, we added a feature called Hibernation. If you run out of energy and fall asleep, and you're waiting to be revived, you now have the chance to accelerate time. Enter the zoomed-out/overview mode, and you'll see a button on the bottom right with a fast-forward symbol. For now this will be available during sleep only (ie all your energy is used up). If you want to try and use it strategically, beware that while asleep you're at a risk for hitting asteroids.
