What changed
- Gameplay
Besides "cracking" an object to split it in a number of pieces, you can now also turn it into a particle ball of thousands of particles that react to gravity. This option can be set from the physics menu. - Planet debris from collisions is now susceptible to gravity. Collisions will now leave visible craters on the surviving body - Besides a ring shape, you can now also set particle rings to a donut or sphere shape - You can now set the eccentricty of orbits with the use of the orbit helper - The orbit helper can now assist in setting up binary orbits - You can change the skybox to a custom design of your choice. To have the least distortion, try using an equirectangular panoramic 360 image - Added 3 well-known galaxies in their correct locations: Sombrero Galaxy, Sculptor Galaxy and Whirlpool Galaxy - You can now also set object parameters directly by clicking on them and using the keyboard instead of only using the sliders - You can turn planet surfaces into crater landscapes by adding a bunch of random craters to them
