Hey friends, in a few days we will be updating our demo (more on that later).

This update changes which items are included and how certain features work, which unfortunately means old save files will no longer be compatible. Your progress will be wiped.
We’re sorry for the short notice.
If you'd like to hang on to memories, you’ve got until Sunday June 8th, 11AM NZT (GMT+12) to grab screenshots or footage before everything resets.
Some other time zones:
United States: Saturday June 7th, 7PM ET (GMT-4)
United Kingdom: Sunday, June 8th, 12AM (BST/GMT+1)
Thanks again for trying our demo. It’s been lovely watching you explore it and we didn't anticipate some of you would spend so much time in it! (which is why we've been perhaps a bit too nonchalant about data).
Oh also, this will happen again. On launch we plan to redo the save system (so players can have multiple save files, cloud save etc and we don't have to break data to make changes). At this time demo data will be stable but until then, try to view progress as one of those things where the fact that you could lose it at any time is what makes it special.
