Snowtopia is coming soon to Early Access!

Hi everyone,

Snowtopia is coming very soon to Early Access! We can't wait to let you discover the new features we've added to the game. But before, we'd like to tell you how it all started. ❄️

As you may know, Snowtopia is a ski resort management game in which you can build your ski lifts and runs. The game is not based on money but on the satisfaction of the skiers, who all have different tastes and levels.

The idea came to Anne and Garry from TeaForTwo when they were on holiday in the French mountains. Clear view, network of slopes and lifts as far as the eye can see, skiers swarming all over the place.

They told themselves that ski resorts have everything you need to make a good management game.

Driving back, they got excited about their perfect ski resort management game. The ability to create the perfect slope. The one that winds through a tree-lined valley - for Garry. And a variety of skiers, each with their own little quirks - for Anne.

They were both freelancers at the time and the idea of going for it started to make its way in their minds.

They started to work on map generation on Unity. They added skiers. They incorporated the creation of different types of ski slopes and lifts.

The Alpha version of Snowtopia was released in December 2018. They had no idea if the game was going to please players. Against all odds, the game exceeded 1K downloads in its first week!

There were still a lot of features to add to get a full game but they were on the right track! Since then, they added snow groomers and mechanics to maintain the slopes, the skiers' fall system, new buildings, high-altitude restaurants, lifeguards...

And now, you will discover all the new features and the new UI very soon!
