Happy Easter everyone!
In Finland, as most areas in the world, we also celebrate Easter, but in Finland, we have this thing called Mämmimeininki.
Game Easter Content
Snägäri Pinball runs during Easter THE EASTER THEME: Meet our mascot with bunny Easter feeling and score your best high score yet. Easter is good time to relax and get the highest score in the Snägäri Pinball score table!
There is nothing better than eat your belly full of chocolate, goodies and slam the keyboards until you are the champion of the table!
Finnish Easter traditions
In Finland, at celebrate Easter by:
We Eat MÄMMI!
What is mämmi you say? Picture deep plate filled with dark brown mushy stuff what too much looks like something that comes out from you that should not be going into you. That is Mämmi, a rye-based delicacy and us Finns love it! We cover it with vanilla sauce and eat it during the pääsiäinen! Yum!
We Eat Pasha!
Pasha, the russian originated delicacy, similar to jello but it acutally looks like mushy white (why do all finnish Easter things are mushy?) stuff that tastes very very good.
We Eat Lot of Cholocolate eggs!
Unlike our friends at western hemisphere, us finns enjoy Chocolate eggs with suprises inside! Every Easter both kids and adults eat ton of chocolate eggs and then after eating the surface, we usually crack open yellow plastic container inside.
This contains lot of different funny things for kids, adults and elders alike. Today mine had cute funny plastic bunny toy that needed to be assembled.
Religion something something something
Yeah and also some finns celebrate Easter with religious themes and other stuff like that, but mostly, its mämmi, pasha and chocolate.
