Major Update – Core Gameplay & Systems Overhaul
This update introduces a complete rework of core shop mechanics, customer interactions, and progression systems. Our goal was to make the shop feel more dynamic, strategic, and rewarding to manage over time.
Key Changes
Shop Shelving & Display System Rebuilt
Shelves now have capacity limits and item visibility affects customer interest
Players can rearrange store layout freely to influence customer flow
Customer Behavior AI Improved
Customers now evaluate store layout, cleanliness, and stock variety
Customer personalities now create unpredictable shopping habits
New Stat System: Charisma & Intelligence
Leveling up now grants points to improve your staff character
Higher charisma attracts more customers
Higher intelligence improves negotiation & profit margins
Price & Economy Rebalance
Item prices, demand rates, and profit scaling adjusted to be more consistent
Dynamic market fluctuations added (some items become more valuable over time)
Hunger & Daily Cycle Adjustments
Hunger meter drains more slowly and can be restored with new consumables
Daily reset now triggers a summary showing profit / loss
Bug Fixes & Optimization
Reduced stuttering and loading times
Fixed shelves disappearing in some save files
Improved pathfinding for NPCs near the cashier
