Coming Early 2021

Hi there: Ben here, swinging by with an update on the development of Slumber Clause: Episode I.

We care about this game deeply, but it's something we're unfortunately hammering away at between other projects that keep the lights on.

We want to make Slumber Clause super weird and unique in the video game narrative space. But in order to do it right, it is taking time. More time than we initially anticipated.

It's looking like Episode I will be ready in early 2021. Working towards a release in the new year will give us more time to write, revise, and make sure the episode is polished.

The plan remains for us to do an episodic release of Slumber Clause under the banner of Early Access. We've nailed down a pricing structure and updated the store page accordingly, complete with a nifty animated graphic. If you are a particularly budget conscious game player who is interested in the project, the best time to buy in will be after Episode I comes out but before Episode II.

When you purchase the game early, you'll automatically get future episodes as they are released. This means if you buy Slumber Clause when Episode I comes out, the entire game will cost $3.99 USD, but you'll only have access to the first episode initially.

Buying the game early not only saves you a hefty chunk of cash but helps us better manage development costs as we continue to work on the game's other planned episodes.
