Environments

The campaign consists of 3 environments with 9 maps each, totalling at 21 maps.

  • European Countryside

    American Desert

    International Racecup

Each campaign introduces new challenges, like an increased number of opponents and an increasingly difficult track layout.

Medals

For completing a race, you can get either a bronze, a silver or a gold medal, depending on your place. After completing an environment with all medals of a certain type, you unlock the next one.

Rewards

When completing the first environment, you'll unlock a special car. This car will get visual upgrades in the next environments.

The car is balanced to be similar to other cars to not give campaign players an unfair advantage.

Which car this will be will remain a secret for now.

Online Leaderboards

Every campaign map has an online leaderboard. Do your best, maybe you'll set a world record! Races are also saved as a replay, allowing you to watch the records of other players.

Regarding the Release

We've stated in the past that we'd like to release in summer of 2020. We've already stated last devblog that this will not be possible (summer is over afterall).

The main reason the game is not out yet is because it was a lot more work than anticipated and there are a lot of things all over the place that still need to be done. The game is generally playable, but it's not the way we want it yet. Because we want to avoid releasing the game as an Early Access title, we'll be pushing it back as much as we need until we think it's ready for a full release.

We know that nobody likes to wait, but it's better in this case. This is also why we don't have a release date yet, it's just too hard to estimate the time we may need. The earliest is December, but depending on how it goes it might even slip into January 2021 or later.

We'll let you know when we know more.

Stay tuned and stay safe!
