The Bleakest Keep is a dark fantasy action roguelike similar to Slay the Minotaur. This time you must slay a multitude of horrors as you climb your way to the top of the tower to kill a dark wizard.

For The Bleakest Keep, I wanted to lean more into horror. A lot of players found Slay the Minotaur to be pretty frightening, so I want to make this game feel a bit more spooky in atmosphere as well as gameplay. Probably not terrifying, but I do hope to scare you a little bit!

I also want this game to be more random. Slay the Minotaur had plenty of randomness, but it was also purposely not as random as a lot of other roguelikes. I don't want to share too much yet, but I am trying out different kinds of ways to randomize the game this time around.

Now that the game is announced, I'm hoping to share updates on The Bleakest Keep more frequently. Following on YouTube and Twitter/X is the best place to stay updated!
