What began as a vision has grown into a living Empire thanks to your support, feedback, passion, and, most importantly, patience. Every report, suggestion, and word shared by the community helped shape the empire it is today.

THANK YOU for standing with Rome, even in the rough times. We wouldn't be able to be here if it weren't for the amazing and passionate community that we have.

We know our last update was in October and we usually deliver new content every two months or so. This one took longer as we went deep on reworking and rebalancing the game’s economy, love/fear system, and more yet to come (we also had to iron out some big bugs and such). Thank you for your patience and sorry for the (slightly longer) wait.

Now, let’s talk about this update, shall we? This new update focuses mostly on Economy and Progression rebalance, mainly on the Love/Fear system, but we also have some more! Below are some highlights of the update, you can check out the full changelog as well.

Highlights

  • Slave apparel customization is now available via Fausta Janus in the dungeon.

  • Economy & progression rebalanced to better support training, trading, and long-term empire growth.

  • Reputation now impacts quest progression, rewards, and notifications.

  • Love & Fear reworked into a single opposing meter with meaningful trade-offs.

  • Slave progression updated with new worth calculation, skill flow, caps, and runaway mechanics.

  • Visual upgrades across hairstyles, characters, textures, and animations.

  • UI improvements for clearer feedback and navigation.

  • Extensive fixes across gameplay, quests, visuals, UI, and systems.

Finally, a quick look ahead: the Pleasure House is being fully revamped and will arrive in the next update!

  • All slaves can now be sold to any slave trader.

  • Love & Fear reward for Jobs will be shown in UI.

  • Improved main quest handling and navigation (quest helper) checks.

  • Improved quest tracking for the Runaway questline.

  • Improved Maxed slave texture and shape.

  • Adjusted Babalarga’s and Amelia’s morphs

  • Updated Dimiara's slave dress.

  • Fixed Amelia's appearance inconsistencies.

  • Added text for Catch Up.

  • Updated descriptions and titles for apparel.

  • Updated Tutorial senator.

  • Improved eyelashes for males.

  • Added missing morphs to Carthaginian Headwrap.

  • Fixes on materials for the Full and Half Mask, Etruscan hair and Leather armor

  • Updated preview images for apparel

  • Update some idle citizen animations (more to come).

  • Updated some idle dungeon slave animations (more to come)

  • Show pose endurance/stamina cost in skill menu UI

Fixes

General

  • Fixed an issue where freeing Godseeker would not properly trigger.

  • Fixed being able to go into negative (Endurance, Stamina) points in the skills menu.

  • Fixed an issue where undressing of random slaves would not properly apply.

  • Fixed Caesar appearing after having sex with Dimiara at Pleasure house.

  • Fixed Cleopatra not having collisions at Cicero's Villa.

  • Fixed showing slave value in Oasis differently from trader and slave.

  • Fixed some NPCs not being available to fuck after completing the game.

  • Fixed outfits not properly fitting slaves after changing body size.

  • Fixed sex scene location when finishing with the General in wall pose (bodies overlap with environment).

  • Fixed being able to climb on invisible wall when jumping from temple

  • Fixed being able to climb on some collisions in front of the player's house.

  • Fixed terrain and mountains above Dimiaria's hiding place at Aqueduct

  • Fixed being able to climb over the fence behind Ameer and the guards at the Oasis.

  • Fixed collisions where player could get stuck in
