Slaughterhouse changes
Slaughterhouse features six characters, including the player character, "The Heir", are stranded in an isolated mountain lodge. Each has their own motives — none of them are innocent.
The Heir
The son of a powerful conglomerate chairman, now in his early thirties. He grew up with everything handed to him and followed his father into the family business. But one day, his parents died in what the media called a tragic accident. In truth, it was an assassination — a conspiracy hidden in plain sight.
He tried to expose the truth, but with no concrete evidence, his efforts were in vain. Inheriting his parents’ fortune, he ascended to the helm of the company — only to realize that the very people who had his parents killed now covet what he possesses.
When they invite him to spend a “quiet holiday” together at a mountain villa, he accepts. A record-breaking blizzard traps them there for eight long days — the perfect opportunity for The Heir to turn the tables and settle old scores.
The Secretary
A long-time aide to The Heir’s parents, precise and ruthless. Ambitious beyond her station, she masterminded the assassination of the couple and now schemes to take The Heir’s fortune. She secretly regards him as idiot, mocking his naivety despite his wealth and position.
The Butler
Once in charge of the household’s daily affairs, she is cautious, timid, and self-serving. With injured parents and three younger siblings to support, she is perpetually strapped for cash. Pressured and manipulated by the Secretary, she joined the original assassination plot and now reluctantly participates again in her plan against The Heir, constantly haunted by guilt and fear.
The Housemaid
Responsible for all household chores and meal preparation, she appears gentle and considerate but harbors deep resentment and insecurity. Feeling entitled to more than her station, she was easily persuaded by the Secretary to join the plot. Proud of her indispensability, she eagerly participates in the plan to take The Heir’s wealth.
The Manager
In charge of the mountain villa, she is lazy, indulgent, and treats the property as if it were her own. She hosts lavish parties and feasts, and when funds ran low, she turned to gambling — accumulating debts that made her vulnerable to manipulation. The Secretary quickly exploited this weakness, drawing her into the plan to seize The Heir’s fortune. How she uses her share of the money — to pay off debts or squander it again — remains uncertain.
The Chef
A professional chef, hired to handle the lavish banquets of the conglomerate. Small in stature and lively in personality, she always tries to see the bright side of any situation. Having been employed by The Heir after the deaths of his parents, she has no connection to the assassination. However, the Secretary persuaded her with the promise of “a chance to make a lot of money,” and, unaware of what that truly meant, she ultimately followed her. Remember, ignorance is no excuse.
Please keep an eye out for future game information and news to find out what kind of story these six will create.
Thank you!
