Demo major update! Multiplayer is now available

changedDistance indicatorsOur Airship's incredible landcrew has updated all of our planes to be able to gauge the distance from the detected planes, and you will be able to see it next to the name of the pilot! This is incredibly useful to decide whether or not to shoot that missile (the answer is always yes!).
changedRebalanced planes"No plan survives the first contact with the enemy" is a great quote that we live for. And the planes were balanced from small amounts of testing. After opening the game to player interaction, the planes proved to work nice, but one of them (I'm looking at you Blowgun) was a little too overpowered.

Squashing some bugs

During the development of the multiplayer, a lot of bugs were detected and fixed. Here's a short list of some of the bugs that were eradicated:

  • Paused end-match screen: there was a bug that caused the timer on the end-match screen to continue ticking even when the game was paused.

  • Multiple kill feed entriessometimes, when an aircraft was taken down with excessive damage, multiple kill feed items would be added to the GUI.
  • Camera recenter: the camera was not being properly reset after respawn.

  • Ghost smoke trails: some smoke trails were not correctly placed, making it so the smoke came out of thin air.

  • And lots of multiplayer bugs that were fixed before releasing the playtest!
