The journey for Skully Bunnies on Steam is just beginning! During Early Access we’ll be expanding the game with new systems, social features, and competitive experiences based on community feedback. Our roadmap is focused on improving competitive play, introducing social features, and expanding long-term progression.

Phase 1 – Foundation

The first phase of Early Access focuses on building the core competitive experience and giving our players meaningful ways to engage with the game daily. Features planned for this phase include:

  • Ranked Matches – Compete against other players and climb the competitive ladder.

  • In-Game Store – Unlock new cosmetics, items, and ways to customize your experience.

  • Live Events – Participate in special limited-time events.

  • Event Challenges – Complete objectives during events to earn rewards.

This phase establishes the foundation for long-term progression and competitive gameplay.

Phase 2 – Social

Phase 2 focuses on connecting players (that's you!) while also expanding the multiplayer experience. Planned additions include:

  • Friends List – Easily connect and keep track of friends in-game.

  • Private Matches – Create custom games and challenge friends directly.

  • Mail – Send and receive mail and invites from your friends in-game.

This phase is designed to strengthen the community and make playing with friends seamless!

Phase 3 – Seasons

Phase 3 intends to expand upon our multiplayer games and launch our first season, Season 1! This will include a Season Pass that can be earned just by playing the game during the season, both casual and ranked games. We also are currently planning for a tournament mode to take place near the end of the season! Planned additions include:

  • Season Event – Our first Season event, including rankings for the Season and unique rewards.

  • Season Pass – Earn cosmetics, currency, and rewards just by playing during the Season.

  • Tournaments - A tournament event that will reward the top players for being the best in the world.

This phase is designed to build a fun, enjoyable core Seasonal loop that our players will look forward to!

Phase 4 – Expansion

The final planned phase of Early Access focuses on expanding the game with additional features and gameplay improvements based on player feedback. We intend to launch not only new challenges, but a new expansion card park to culminate in our 1.0 Release! Our goal during this phase is to continue evolving Skully Bunnies with new content, balance updates, and additional features that will keep our community engaged and excited from 1.0 and beyond!

Built With the Community

Skully Bunnies is being developed alongside our players. Feedback from the community will play a huge role in shaping future updates, balancing gameplay, and determining what new features will be added. We’re excited to build this game together with our players!
