Skulltide comes now with its largest update, bringing it into a state of full release! This skeletal adventure game has been a blast to create, and thank you to all those who have followed along with it until now! A few more updates shall come to Skulltide, and to The Planar Danse overall--Read on for a big update to the next project!
New Ability Set
Skulltide has received a big new update! Get the Knights Adamant ability set, comprised of:
Sanctify - adds a weapon buff for source/entropic damage that does pure damage to those whose soul is necromantically aligned. Dont hit your friends)
Blade of the Diamond - A slower two-handed sword with wider swings and high damage.
Riposte - Ever wanted to parry those pesty knights? Now you can!
Battle Totem - Raise an explosive totem to provide buffs to nearby skeletons! It also explodes!
Honorcall - A passive guard for you and all allies nearby, which can be toggled to provide massive Durability at the cost of speed.
2 New Levels
Also journey to two new levels, the Zypressvald, located in the Unsleeping Hollow of old Cospia, a cypress/pine wood caught in a heavy storm, with winding tree-paths; and Fel Scoria, the Magma Flats of Nocturne, a lava-ridden land of sinkholes and lava-boats.

Published Novel in The Planar Danse
This is a story of fantasy/magical realism, a genre which takes the rules of the Planar Danse within their own logic and treats them as fact, exploring the reality of human experience around it. The theme is that of occultism and black magic in a land where such is not looked down upon, rather, interaction with the spiritual world is the norm.

In other lands the black magicks of occultism are hunted and burned at the stake; not so in Elysia. Here, spells are state mandates, spirits are firm allies, ghosts are kept instead of graves. None know this more than the agents of the Ministry, whose role is that of the use of and protection against the occult. One such name, Agent Yukiko, uses the hidden spirit world, the Twilight, to calm and catch rampant ghosts or devilish evils, alike.
However, when the Twilight takes her in return, trapping her in wayward, timeless realms for 63 years, she returns with nary a connection to the Elysian Dynasty in the modern day. Her family passed, the world different, with war brewing and spirits inspired to violence. The Ministry, however, remains a steward of a precarious Dynasty under the rule of a drunkard Emperor given the title of Carnival Crown for his near-infinite debauchery and unending celebrations. It may not be the same Ministry she left behind in the world-before, but in order to keep the peace between the worlds of the physical and spiritual, she will need to navigate this black magic bureaucracy and play the part of witch and agent.
