Here’s what’s coming to the kitchen:

Major Updates

Market Stations: Market Stations are a new type of station card that lets you buy specific ingredients—for a higher price. During the recent beta tests, we noticed that finding certain ingredients, especially from early packs, was becoming tedious. These new stations are designed to make it easier to find exactly what you need to cook.

  • There are 5 types of Market Stations: Pantry Market, Vegetable Market, General Store 1, General Store 2, and the Seafood Market.

  • Designed to reduce frustration and give more control over your runs.

Event Cards: If you played the demo or beta, you’re probably familiar with Rent Days. Based on your feedback, we saw that Rent Days felt too sudden, and the rent amounts were unclear.

Now, event cards will appear on your table when a specific event is approaching. For example, Rent Day will show up with a countdown and let you know exactly how much you need to pay.

  • Event cards open up a whole new layer of gameplay, and we plan to expand them with even more fun challenges.

A New Event: We’ve also added a brand-new event: Health Inspection. If you let more than 10 garbage cards pile up on your table, you’ll receive a warning. Fail to clean it up in time, and you’ll be fined.

Upgrade Shop UI Overhaul: The Upgrade Shop is one of the most important parts of Sizzle & Stack, and it finally got the love it deserves. We’ve completely redesigned the UI to make it more readable, more navigable, and far more intuitive.

  • All upgrade options now have custom icons.

  • Purchase states and availability are clearly marked.

  • No more guesswork—you’ll know exactly what you’re getting and when.

Character Animations

Your restaurant just got a lot livelier. We’ve added new animations to give your quirky customers more personality.

You’ll now see them react in real time

whether they’re happily munching on their food, storming off in disappointment, or just taking it all in.

It’s a small touch, but one that adds warmth and soul to every order served.

All Recipe Packs Now Unlockable: As you progress in your run, you’ll now be able to unlock four brand-new content packs: Mexican Flame, Turkish Cuisine, Asian Delicacy, and Royal Banquet. (This update will be experienced only in the beta version of the game due to the limited number of days of the demo version)

Each pack introduces a new set of dishes, ingredients, and recipe combinations—bringing more variety, challenge, and flavor to your kitchen.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

This update also includes several enhancements to improve moment-to-moment gameplay:

  • Sell Area Repositioned: It’s now in a more accessible and visually clean spot. Selling is faster and smoother than ever.

  • Spoil Indicator UpgradeThis is a brand-new upgrade that adds a visual layer to ingredient and dish cards, showing how soon they’ll spoil—no more accidental garbage buildup!
  • Kitchen Expansion Increased: You can now expand your table to support up to 100 cards —perfect for players who love juggling complex setups.

  • Card Hover HighlightWe’ve added a subtle hover effect to help you clearly see which card you’re about to pick up with your mouse.

Bug Fixes & Minor Updates

  • Improved ultra-wide resolution support in the main menu

  • Added main menu visual effects

  • UI text fixes in the shop

  • Fixed issues with the Mission System

  • Multiple balance and economy adjustments

Our Roadmap to Full Release

With this update, we’re also sharing our official roadmap —a look at all the exciting features we’re planning to bring to Sizzle & Stack before the full release later this year.

These include:

  • Upgraded Tools to boost efficiency in the heat of cooking

  • Rogue-like Progression with adaptive difficulty and choices

  • Full Mod Support to let the community create and share their own content

We’re building toward something special, and we hope you’ll continue to shape it with us.
