General Changes

Opt-in Team Chat

You can now enable team chat under Settings > Gameplay. New players will be asked whether they would like to opt into chat after choosing their control settings. Note: while we work on a proper reporting and punishment system, please report any players via the ticket in our Discord.

Player Muting You now have the ability to mute players, including:

  • In-game pings

  • Chat messages (if chat is enabled)

To mute a teammate, simply click the mute icon located next to their name in the scoreboard.

Armory Improvements In the Armory, the Stockpile tab is now accessible. The Stockpile tab displays your inventory of resources and Paints. The UI is still a work in progress, but we wanted to release a functional version rather than delay for polish.

Shop Update We’re addressing usability and content feedback we’ve received from the community by simplifying the shop and guaranteeing tier 5 resources from Premium Shipments.

  • We simplified the shop to have only 3 Premium options and 3 Tern options.

  • Premium purchases now guarantee at least one Tier 5 resource.

We think it’s a small step in the right direction that required no engineering time. We’ll be addressing the shop more in the future, but until then, your feedback is appreciated!

Max Party Size Reduced Max party size is now limited to 2 down from 3. We made this change to increase match quality during low matchmaking pool times. We will be holding social custom games weekly in our Discord

New Resource: Stalker A new cloth-type resource, Stalker, has been added to the game based on the default Stalker cloth.

Sampan (starting ship) Ability 1 - Wind in a Bottle

Ability 3 - Harpoon

  • Augment Slayerdamage bonus reduced from 35% to 30%

Stalker Ability 1 - Veil

  • speed increased from [14-28] to [19-35]

  • Augment Dominator: cooldown reduction from 25% to 15%

Medium Class Ships

Lockjaw Ability 2 - Blaze

  • No longer can be deflected, reflected, nor duplicated.

Ability 3 - Grapple

  • damage reduction while grappling reduced from [35-70%] to [30-50%]

  • arrival damage reduction reduced from [10-30%] to [10-20%]

  • Cast range reduced from [108-148] to [108-128]

  • Augment Strikerdamage per mine reduced from [50-700] to [40-400]

Large Class Ships

Crucible Ability 1 - Afterburner

  • percentage speed after the initial boost reduced from [25-35%] to [15-30%]

Ability 2 - Broadsides

  • cooldown from [30-20] to [30-25]

  • slow reduced from [23-50] knots to [20-35] knot slow.

  • now deals 2-4% of targets current health plus an additional 40-280 damage every seconds (dealt in 0.25 intervals)

  • Augment Striker: can now stack, allowing slow to buildup and the damage overtime (each additional hit increase the effect at 50% effectiveness) can no longer deal the initial damage on the same target already under its effect

Wither

Ability 3 - Congregate

  • reduce base range from [45-57] to [44-48]

Weapons Upgrade

Weapons

General Changes

  • Base DPS increased for weapons from 33 to 36

  • All weapons now have a base of 4 shots between special

Close Range (red weapons)

  • Reinforcer: base reload time from 2 to 1.6 seconds. Max ammo from 2 to 1

  • Overlocker: Max ammo from 3 to 2. now properly display the duration of the effect in the tooltip

Medium Range (yellow weapons)

  • Executionerbase reload time from 2 to 4 seconds. special changed; now deals more damage the closer to death a target is. Base is 50% at 0% health. The base percentage increases with special. This bonus damage does not benefit from critical multiplier
  • Scorpion: can now stack on a single target. Each additional application increase the damage over time by 20% up to a maximum of 100% (double the base damage over time)

Longer Range (blue weapons)

  • Trench Maker: base reload time from 7 to 6.5 seconds

  • Frag Mortar: base reload time from 2.5 to 2.3 seconds

  • Hull Splitter: base reload from 5 to 6 seconds
