Singularity Divide Development Update – Alpha 1

A major milestone has been completed for Singularity Divide: the dynamic RTS pacing system is now functional, meaning we are officially in Alpha 1.

Enemy forces can now spawn and escalate based on:

  • Player survivor count

  • Story / progression stage

  • Current battlefield pressure

  • Faction alignment state

This means the world now reacts to your growth and applies increasing pressure over time, forming the backbone of the game’s survival loop.

While balance and AI behavior still require tuning, this marks the transition from isolated mechanics into a functioning gameplay ecosystem. We’re officially at the point where the systems are beginning to work together as intended.

Next Steps:

  • Tune pacing, spawn frequency and unit balance

  • Improve enemy target/attack behaviors

  • Refine Fractured faction roster and escalation rules

  • Continue Alpha 1 stabilization

Things are moving...
