addedSince you are reading this scroll, your contract has already been signed in blood, and you've officially been appointed as the New Manager of our Infernal Branch. Forget the cauldrons and pitchforks. We run a serious operation down here.
addedOur primary fuel is sinners. Catch the stray floating souls and send them to the Reapers to harvest Sins, or throw them into the Torment Chamber. Torture generates Energy for your factories, smelters, sawmills etc. Sins are required to unlock new buildings and skills. The more Sins you hoard, the better.
addedDemons spawn in Deadly Nest, and nearby Brothels accelerate the process. But remember: the larger your workforce grows, the slower new demons are born. Do not rely on numbers — rely on quality. Equip your workers and warriors with better tools, clothing, and boots crafted in Workshops to improve their efficiency, carrying capacity, movement speed, armor, and combat performance.
changedPersonnel is everything. Every demon has a role to play. Some will mine ore and chop wood. Others will grow food or forge equipment. Some will be trained into warriors, preparing for the inevitable assault on the Heart of Darkness. Finding the perfect balance in this workforce is half the success of your mission.
changedDefending the Heart of Darkness will be brutal. The forces of Light are numerous, they will strike in waves, growing stronger each time. At your disposal are demon warriors (from Swordsmen to Ranged units), defensive towers, and potent spells from the School of Distortion capable of cleaving enemy health in half.
changedP.S. If this all sounds entirely overwhelming — congratulations. You are beginning to understand why the previous Manager failed.

Here's your onboarding manual.

Orientation Briefing

Your first task is choosing who you'll be. Pick your character and starting perks carefully — each background comes with its own strengths and influences how your settlement develops. Choose wisely before signing your soul away to a specific management style.

Infernal Time Management

The work cycle is strictly regulated. First comes the "Development" phase, where you frantically build up infrastructure and assign demons to their professions. Then comes the "Defense" phase, where you must survive and protect the Heart of Darkness from the relentless incursions of the aggressive Forces of Heaven.

Resource Allocation

Our primary fuel is sinners. Catch the stray floating souls and send them to the Reapers to harvest Sins, or throw them into the Torment Chamber. Torture generates Energy for your factories, smelters, sawmills etc. Sins are required to unlock new buildings and skills. The more Sins you hoard, the better.

Demographics & Micromanagement

Demons spawn in Deadly Nest, and nearby Brothels accelerate the process. But remember: the larger your workforce grows, the slower new demons are born. Do not rely on numbers — rely on quality. Equip your workers and warriors with better tools, clothing, and boots crafted in Workshops to improve their efficiency, carrying capacity, movement speed, armor, and combat performance.

Demon Resources Policy

Personnel is everything. Every demon has a role to play. Some will mine ore and chop wood. Others will grow food or forge equipment. Some will be trained into warriors, preparing for the inevitable assault on the Heart of Darkness. Finding the perfect balance in this workforce is half the success of your mission.

Defensive Forces

Defending the Heart of Darkness will be brutal. The forces of Light are numerous, they will strike in waves, growing stronger each time. At your disposal are demon warriors (from Swordsmen to Ranged units), defensive towers, and potent spells from the School of Distortion capable of cleaving enemy health in half.

Natural Employee Turnover

Every defense eventually cracks. Your Heart of Darkness will be shattered. and you will inevitably have to start over. Fortunately, the Sin you have accumulated and your permanent Hamartia knowledge carry over between runs, making your next settlement stronger.

P.S. If this all sounds entirely overwhelming — congratulations. You are beginning to understand why the previous Manager failed.

Add Sin & Siege to your Wishlist and prove you can do better. After all, you have an entire eternity to practice.

From the depths of Hell,

The Sin & Siege Team
