Sil and the Fading World changes

We hope you’re having fun with the Demo!
In this patch, we’re introducing several system reworks, texture and animation updates, and a new Crimson Knight ability.
Major Changes
Added new Animation + VFX to Crimson Knight's abilities
Added new Crimson Knight Ability: Bloodshatter
Reworked Tenderize to summon a Void Vortex that travels forwards
Reworked the looting system. Enemies and destructible objects will now drop a pouch containing all their loot on the ground, which can then be picked up.
Dev Note: With this looting systems, players can now inspect items before picking them up.
New Stat added: Skill
Skill is a new implicit modifier that combines the old implicit modifiers namely Life, Power, Essence and Armor into one Stat.
All proc-based modifiers have been grouped into a new category called Extra Effect Modifiers, indicated by a pink circle in the Equipment inspect window
Lowered the amount of modifiers on Equipments
Common: 0 Prefixes and 0 Suffixes
Rare: Either 1 Prefix or 1 Suffix
Epic: 1 Prefix and 1 Suffix
Heirloom: Either 1 Prefix and 2 Suffixes or 2 Prefixes and 1 Suffix (Has a chance to roll an additional Effect Modifier)
Legendary: 2 Prefixes and 2 Suffixes (Has a chance to roll an additional Effect Modifier)
Mythical: 2 Prefixes and 2 Suffixes (Has a chance to roll up to two additional Effect Modifiers)
- Dev NoteLoading old save files will transform your old Equipments to feature the new modifier system. That being said, the Equipments will still feature the same amount of modifiers they had with the old system (so you will not lose any modifiers). Any Equipments dropped from that point onwards will follow the new system.
Resistance Rework:
Fire, Frost and Lightning Resistance have been merged into Elemental Resistance
Corruption Resistance has been removed
New Resistance: Abyssal Resistance
Damage Type Rework:
Fire, Frost and Lightning damage now grant Elemental damage
Bleed damage has been converted into Physical damage
Dev Note: Many players thought bleed damage scales off physical damage which caused a lot of confusion, that's why we are simplifying things and merging them into one damage type.
Corruption Damage has been removed
Updated the textures of Molten Depths
Balance Changes
Reduced the amount of Equipments that drop by 25%
Adventure-mode health and damage scaling increased by 43%
Buffed non-boss enemy damage by 10%
Flamebound Guardian Health increased by 12% Prophecy of Flames damage buffed by 50% Ruination damage buffed by 25%
They Who Hid Health increased by 10% in Phase 1
Condensed Darkness Health increased by 33% Movement Speed increased by 15%
Fiend Removed indicator on Tantrum Reduced damage of Tantrum by 33%
Corruptor Health reduced by 15%
Nerfed chest inherit item quantity by 50%
Nerfed chest chance to roll Equipments by 25%
Bug Fixes and Minor Changes
Minor Changes
Enemy Health Bars now display buffs
Updated the lighting inside the Charred Woods, Molten Depths and The Discard
Updated some monster SFX
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where enemy health bars would not display stacks of debuffs properly
Beta Tester Crown should only be available via a valid Beta Tester Key (sorry for the confusion)
Fixed a bug where Felya would not spawn after killing Magmadon for the first time
Fixed a bug where adventure mode was scaling much more aggressively than intended
Fixed a bug that caused old saves to lose certain Equipements
Fixed a bug that made "Velkash, Grips of the Shattered Host" unobtainable
Fixed a bug where Epics and Rares would not keep their names after loading a save file
Many other small bug fixes
