changedHello everyone, This is our last Early Access patch before the final release of version 1.0. It includes fixes and improvements recommended by our player community:
fixedFixesWe have fixed the issue where ships would start firing while the camera transition was taking place between the construction phase and the battle phase. Now the combat phase will start once the camera movement ends.
removedFixesWe have removed the rocks in the sea on the beach level as it was impossible to destroy ships passing through them.
fixedImprovementsWe have improved the aiming system of the weapons. Some of you were telling us that the shots of some races weren't precise enough, and didn´t fall in the center of the target making the gameplay more difficult than it should. This was much more evident when playing with the dwarves. We have fixed that. It is worth noting though that the shots of all three races still have a percentage of spread, but they are much more accurate than before.
changedImprovementsImprovements to the AI of the airships: In several cases, airships tended to fly to one spot on the map and just float there on top of each other. They wiill now behave as intended, and will fly randomly around the map constantly.
removedImprovementsShips behavior: They will no longer go to the left and right edges of the map, where it was almost impossible to hit them with our cannons.

Fixes

  1. We have fixed the issue where ships would start firing while the camera transition was taking place between the construction phase and the battle phase. Now the combat phase will start once the camera movement ends.

  2. We have removed the rocks in the sea on the beach level as it was impossible to destroy ships passing through them.

Improvements

  1. We have improved the aiming system of the weapons.

  2. Improvements to the AI of the airships: In several cases, airships tended to fly to one spot on the map and just float there on top of each other. They wiill now behave as intended, and will fly randomly around the map constantly.

  3. Ships behavior: They will no longer go to the left and right edges of the map, where it was almost impossible to hit them with our cannons.

  4. We have included a small tutorial message at the beginning of the first repair phase indicating where the Battle button is located and is function, as some players seemed to ignore it. This button allows you to move on to the next battle without having to wait for the construction phase timer to end, making the gameplay much more active and without tedious pauses.

We are very happy with the final result of our game. We look forward to your feedback on the forums or on our Discord channel. If in the next few weeks there are no issues and we see that the version is stable in all senses, we will prepare the official release of the game.

Many thanks to all for your support and best regards,

The Siege Island Team
