Sidereal Dominion: Avalon changes
The mission system was entirely deleted and replaced with a unique victory system. The victory system has three different methods by which you can win the game before time runs out. This should make the game faster and less tedious
You can now modify ships in the ship modification tab. You unlock ship modifications through technologies and randomly while playing the game. There are 12 ways to modify each of the basic light/medium/heavy ships, or 1728 in total.
You now acquire Commanders who will lead fleets into battle. They give you access to special abilities during battles which boost your ship stats for a period. This will need to be made more interesting in the future
Added lens flares to the battle skyboxes, added 4 new skyboxes
Reduced the size of the game by 300MB. Increased the performance of some game logic
Improved parts of the GUI. Improved the in-game tutorial
Added an Achievements tab in the main menu
Improved the title-placement algorithm
Added a rotation option to the custom flag maker
Fixed a problem with jagged edge antialiasing when zoomed out of the map
Added an action to increase the number of building slots on a planet
Pricing and Development: I’m going to take a break from development for ~2 months unless there’s a major bug since I have other things to do. In addition, I have decided to “flip” the pricing of the game for Early Access. Instead of having large discounts combined with a high base price, the base price will be low with little to no discounts during sales. I feel that this will make the game more consistently accessible. If version 1.0 is reached, the price will go back up. Next versions will probably be about making the politics and diplomacy more interesting
