Arriving ready to conquer alongside the game's massive Test of Time update, longtime fan-favorite leader Alexander the Great is joining Civ VII's base-game roster! This is a free addition for all Civ VII players, so once you've downloaded Update 1.4.0, this content will automatically be available in-game with no extra steps.*
Whether he helped you lead Greece or Macedonia to greatness in previous Civ titles, or if this is your introduction to the famed historical leader, Alexander is remembered most as a prolific conqueror of vast territories spanning from Greece to India. In Civ VII, his emphasis on increasing Production and Culture is matched only by his enhanced Military might, as well as a penchant for befriending leaders who have conquered fewer Settlements than his own.
Keep in mind that Leaders with similarly sprawling empires are less likely to get along with Alexander, and fully harnessing his superior combat prowess requires investment in building Wonders that enrich the Culture of his non-Capital Cities.
