Announcing Shutter 2 Classic Mode!
As an homage to the original Shutter, a new mode has been added that focuses on puzzles and pictures, but don't confuse the silence for safety... there's a new threat lurking in the halls of Kent Island Prison, and it can come for you at any moment.
In Shutter 2 Classic Mode, gameplay has been simplified with weapons and standard enemy combat being removed. However, a new enemy that relentlessly stalks you and can appear at almost any moment has surfaced in the prison. Hold your ground and try to photograph it, or find temporary safety in another room - just don't let it get too close.
For fans of horror streaming, Shutter 2 Classic Mode creates a perfect environment for highly screamable moments. The scares are completely unscripted and the tension continues to build in the silence as you wait for the next encounter.
Boss battles have also been reworked to focus on the photography element which creates a simplified yet still challenging experience.
If you're already a R.A.V.E.N Shield veteran or looking to become a new recruit, Shutter 2 Classic Mode creates another terrifying reason to suit up and go looking for paranormal paraphernalia.
