Episode 11: Preview

Hey guys! So, I’m currently finishing Violet’s scene. The last and the hottest animations are left to complete, and I’m planning to finish them this week and move on to the final scene of the update.

Repeated intro

Hey guys!

  • Performance

changedViolet’s scene turned out to be a bit troublesome from a technical standpoint. I’m not entirely sure what’s causing it, but for some reason it just refuses to batch render. Normally I work on the visuals during the day, set them to batch render overnight, and then wake up to finished images and animations in the morning. It’s a very convenient workflow. However, in this particular scene it simply doesn’t work, most likely because of some asset used in the scene. The only solution I’ve found so far is rendering each visual separately, which thankfully avoids the errors. The good news is that all the still images are already rendered. Only a few animations remain, and those can still be rendered overnight without issues. So I’m hoping to finally wrap this scene up this week.
changedThat’s it for now, guys. Stay tuned, and I’ll talk to you soon!

And one more small milestone: the update has now passed 1500 visuals, which makes it the biggest one I’ve made so far. Thank you all for your support and patience. I really hope you’ll enjoy the final result!
