Shrommzzz: Mushroom Foraging changes
What's new
Is that snow? Are those beautiful red leaves? Seasons have arrived to the shrom islands! Did you know that the magical mushrooms let time flow differently there? A week is 4 days, and a season is 4 weeks. So in 16 in-game days you'll get those crunchy leaves under your feet!
There's so much to discover on the shrom islands. Who was here before you? What did they discover? Why did they leave? What's Fred favourite chill spot?
We took our time & crafted a totally new mechanic for you to discover & search the islands at night using a new blacklight tool. These little story snippets will tell you about the ones that came before, but most importantly, give you just the hint you need to solve that next mushroom mystery. For our panel of mycologists these islands hold no secrets anymore, can you fill their shoes?
We call it, the toolring, and it's your new best friend in shrommzzz. Just right click or use the gamepad arrows to access all your tools in one place. The best addition has got to be the brand new decoration builder. Design to your hearts content on any of the islands. That's right, in shrommzzz, you can build anywhere, on any island. We can't wait to see what zenny spaces you come up with!
Decoration sweetnes
We added the first summer collection of 24+ new decorative items, which we call "zen items". Together with the new decorative builder tool you can really start making a little zen island for yourself. Check it out & let us know what cute cozy adventurous aesthetic items you'd want more!
There's more??
There's more objectives that'll be sent your way through your phone to help you get your footing in the world of shrommzzz. And you'll start with some G's in the bank. The UI for mycelium got updated to be readable in any weather or time of day. Shrom physics madness causing you to lose mushrooms by them falling through the island got resolved. The day becomes darker 3 hours earlier for those sweet hints and hitting "M" on your keyboard now opens the map directly instead of having to open the app on your phone.

toggle running mode
Exposed settings for saturation, brightness, fov, sensitivy. Damn those pesky screen settings.
Redid & tweaked all weather types
Update phone lighting for better readability.
Improved performance, collisions, walking paths, stability.
fixed most / all bugs that were reported
all sounds were recalibrated, apparently we're weird for putting our headphones too quiet :)

About us
Did you know we're just us 2 making shrommzzz? That's almost solo dev ;) Sometimes we feel we get drowned in the big world of not-so-tiny indie game studios and giant mastodonts. It seems like a gimmick these days, but we did actually quit our jobs last year & started making this game as an indie dev couple. And it's tough! We haven't got a publisher or kickstarter. Just us 2 cranking away in our bedroom.
It would mean the world to us, like really help us immensely if you could give the game a chance, share to your friends, leave a review, mention it on social media. We're not so marketing snazzy pajazzy, we're also a bit introverted. That's why we put the game price extra low at €9.99, no discount psychology from us. Just a couple trying to get this thing off the ground in a fair way. We hope you'll join our journey!
