Hi all!
The game is currently in phase 1.5 but already available on Steam, and very soon it will be accessible to the first 50 testers. I'm genuinely surprised that there are already 50+ testers in the queue without much marketing work, but that's good! :)
So, we are awaiting Steam approval, and then the playtest will commence.
Here's the current state and implemented mechanics: 2 Items: Dash and SlowTime (might be renamed to TimeWarp or something fancier) 10 Levels (4 Designs): Still need some adjustments, as Level_3 is too extreme.
Ghost character
serves to remind you of previous wins or failures. Basic settings for rebinding the controls.
Upcoming features
Waypoint item
If placed and the player dies, they respawn there (time is also reset).
ITEM 4
Will be determined based on community suggestions.
GravityFlip Block
When a player collides with it, it will change the gravity. Proper start timer/counter with appropriate sound and eventually light signals. Camera adjustments. Redesign of the level selection menu. Addition of direction arrows, guides, and fun elements to the levels.
Considerations for future development
Stacking abilities: Allow players to invoke TimeWarp multiple times to extend the time. Character customization items (hats, shoes, etc.).
