ShoreTiles changes
You're invited to play ShoreTiles!
Inspired by the creativity of Dorfromantik, Dredge's aesthetics and the strategic decision-making of Bad North, ShoreTiles is an atmospheric tile-placement strategy game where you build and defend a growing island settlement around a lonely lighthouse in the middle of an endless ocean.
By day, you will place new tiles, expand your island, gather resources, build houses, farms, barracks and walls, and strengthen your settlement.
By night, creatures emerge from the depths, drawn to the light and everything it protects.
What’s Included in the Demo?
The ShoreTiles demo gives you an early look at the game’s core systems, including:
Strategic tile-placement gameplay
Resource and settlement management
Day and night gameplay cycles
Defensive planning against escalating enemy attacks
Procedurally generated maps encouraging replayability
Support for 12 languages
No two islands play the same, and every run tells a different story.
We Want Your Feedback
This is only the beginning of ShoreTiles, and we would love to hear what you think.
As you play the demo, let us know:
What strategies helped you survive longest?
Which systems felt most satisfying?
What would you like expanded or improved before launch?
Did the night-time attacks feel fair, tense, terrifying, or all three?
Any other feedback you would like to share
We will be reading community feedback throughout the demo period and beyond.
If you enjoy the demo, wishlisting ShoreTiles is one of the best ways to support development and stay updated as we move toward the full launch in Q3 2026.
Thank you for stepping onto the shoreline with us.
Now grab your sharpest harpoon, keep the lighthouse burning, and try the ShoreTiles demo on Steam today!
