Update Notes for January 19, 2026 - Fixed bug in Story Mode progression

Thanks for your patience on this but I have just pushed a patch for the game to fix some bugs relating to getting stuck on the XP screen during the Story Mode.

I found two situations where it was possible to cause this bug. First, the NPC side-tournament games were contributing to the series score vs the god in that area which would lead to a mismatch in your series score. The second would happen if you closed the game before returning to the world map and saving the series score. Both situations would lead to a mismatch in the actual series score and what the code was expecting the score to be and so players would not be able to progress past the XP screen no matter how many times they tried again. If a series is a best-of-seven, then no team should ever have more than 4 wins without winning the series.

For anyone who had a series that was stuck at the XP screen (thank you to those who brought up the issue!) You will be reset to the first game of the series. Sorry for the inconvenience!
