changedWhat is, in that case, Shopping Mall Renovator ? The title is going to be a renovator game with management elements. The player assumes the role of an "investor-handyman" who, by using an assortment of available procedures and tools, selects, buys, and restores different kinds of building intended for retail businesses. That's not where the business plan ends, however – after renovating the available buildings there are two paths available: Selling the property to quickly obtain more cash or keeping it to independently manage every venue through renting (we will expand on this topic in the following devlogs), which provides a stable, long-term income.
changedWe would like everyone to have a genuine sense that their engagement in a project, or lack thereof, has a very real impact on the player's income. Because of that every building is going to have a number of jobs to be completed, dependent on the mall's location and the needs of local residents. Observing these conditions will later have a visible impact on store prices.
changedWe're planning to feature numerous patterns for walls, floors, decor elements, and store furnishing, all the while including a number of companies to choose from as our shopping center tenants. This will give the player freedom of designing and creating unique interiors, encouraging shoppers from the entire city (and maybe even beyond 😉 ).
changedWe realize this doesn't exhaust every detail by far, and more questions may arise, but we'd prefer to keep things brief at the early stages of the game's development.

In the next devlog we'll show you some of the building that will become available on our path to fortune!
