Repeated intro

Hello everyone,

What changed

1 fix0 additions1 change1 removal
  • UI and audio
  • Gameplay
fixedFirst, a little background on why no bugs were fixed or new content added to the released version for so long. You know that VR is a fast-moving technology. The time came when Valve, whose software I used to develop the game, released a major update that meant I would have had to develop the game from scratch. Bug fixes, new content, etc. would have required me to bring the game up to date with the Valve interface. As a one-man company, I didn't have the time or money to do that.
changedThis year, I decided to fundamentally move my developments away from a proprietary interface (Valve / SteamVR) and switch to an open interface (OpenXR). The product that emerged was "Shopkeeper Simulator: Refreshed".
removedWhat has changedIn addition to the deeper technical changes, there are changes to the interaction system, whereby the (admittedly somewhat error-prone) notebook is replaced by the native OpenXR interaction and the tracking (gripping) problems of various headsets should be a thing of the past. The stealing mechanic unfortunately had to be removed due to technical problems.
