addedHi, those who follow us may have noticed that we have replaced the gameplay footage and all the pictures in the landing page with better ones... we hope :). The reason is that we have restyling all the characters from scratch, moving from the old cartoonish to a new semi-realistic style which in our opinion better suit the rest of the game ( at this point you may wonder why on Earth we chose a cartonish style for our characters in the first place, but please... don't ask... really don't :).
addedIn addition we are also working to improve game mechanics more and more, so we added two main features here:
changedSuper shotThe super shot is.... a super shot. Ok, I guess I should give you some more detail here. Watching the video you can see your crosshair shaking at a certain point while you are jumping: shooting in that very moment your weapon power increases by about three times and hitting the ball you get the super shot... and a wonderful flaming ball indeed.
addedPower upsPower ups give the gameplay more depth being able to be used in many different ways: for example you can throw the magnet to avoid an opponent's goal or lift the ball and get ready for the super shot. Power ups randomly appear in the arena and refresh on goal or every 30 seconds ( if I'm not wrong ). Here are the ones we made so far, others will be added in the future:
changedPower upsSteam post image Passive, increases your character skills Steam post image Passive, increases your current weapon stats Steam post image Active, makes a wall appear on the field Steam post image Active, throws a grenade freezing all the opponent players in a given range Steam post image Active, attracts the ball
changedPower upsStay tuned and be ready, the Shootball Arena team.

Super shot

The super shot is.... a super shot. Ok, I guess I should give you some more detail here. Watching the video you can see your crosshair shaking at a certain point while you are jumping: shooting in that very moment your weapon power increases by about three times and hitting the ball you get the super shot... and a wonderful flaming ball indeed.

Power ups

Power ups give the gameplay more depth being able to be used in many different ways: for example you can throw the magnet to avoid an opponent's goal or lift the ball and get ready for the super shot. Power ups randomly appear in the arena and refresh on goal or every 30 seconds ( if I'm not wrong ). Here are the ones we made so far, others will be added in the future:

At the very moment we are working on the third arena and some other characters, in order for you to have enough content to enjoy with and for us to take the next step: early access is coming soon.... yeah :)

That's all for today folks.

Stay tuned and be ready, the Shootball Arena team.
