Play as Yono, a shrine maiden, and aim to conquer a haunted house (dungeon) infested with Mononoke (supernatural spirits).
The "strategy" in "Strategy Roguelike Horror" means taking a moment to think ahead before acting — so you never find yourself blindly fleeing in a panic. Since the protagonist Yono moves primarily on foot, the key is to think one step ahead as you walk, and get the jump on the Mononoke before they get the jump on you.
