While you'll need to employ an arsenal of combat techniques to conquer the journey ahead, aerial maneuvers and Ningi will prove essential to navigating the treacherous terrain of each stage.

Take a closer look at some of the game's toughest platforming sections.

Ankou Rifts

All stages have a hidden Ankou Rift, each offering an incredibly difficult trial.

While you'll typically need to use the Ningi acquired in the same stage as the rift, the challenges found toward the end of your journey will test your full set of skills.

An incredible reward awaits those who complete every rift.

Many of the Ankou Rifts may be tough, but persevere and conquer them all!

Oboro Village

A particular section of Oboro Village is covered in spikes. While you won't be able to traverse this area on your first visit, you can dive right in as soon as you obtain Ninja Claws.

The trick is to find the precise height for your jumps and to dash after you jump when required. As missing a jump can prove deadly, it'll take some trial and error to master this technique.

Lantern Festival

The Secret Cave lies hidden within this stage. Spikes and flamethrowers litter the path ahead.

In addition to testing your jumping mastery, you must match the timing of the flames as you push onward. There are a few safe spots along the path, so use them to determine your next step forward.

The Assault

Many consider the final stage to have the most difficult challenge in the game, putting all of your ninja skills to the test.

The key is moving with precise jumps and your Ninja Claws. You may need to take risks with your button and stick inputs to push forward. This zone will test your limits, making it all the more satisfying once you reach the end.

We look forward to seeing videos of everyone's successful attempts!

Main Takeaway

SHINOBI: The Art of Vengeance offers a challenge. It may seem like an insurmountable challenge at first, but after multiple tries, your expertise in the ninja arts will shine through. Do your best to clear each trial and become a shinobi master!
