Shinehill changes
Hi everyone! The second major update was released today! Very excited to tell you more about it:
New system of interacting with NPCs:
Ability to hug/kiss NPCs
You can gift NPCs any items
You can acces the store through NPCs
Friendship log
Tracking of side quests
Obstacle avoidance system for the player:
We've been wanting to add this for a long time and we finally made it! The new collision detection and avoidance system will help you not to get stuck in objects. Your character will automatically walk around the obstacle from the nearest possible angle. It will be much more comfortable to play this way!
New decoration system
(just talk to the mayor):
You can choose the color of the roof
You can choose the color of the walls inside the house
You can upgrade the furniture inside the house
New items for decorating the farm
Other updates:
The first festival in Shinehill
Added swordfish
Added penguin (pet)
Added eggplant
Bugfixes, etc:
Added X button to exit menus everywhere
Inventory acces by Esc button
Removed the invisible wall at the daily quest board
Every morning quest pop up appears
Number of items is now displayed when confirming actions with said item
Huge pumpkin drops 7 to 10 seeds
Simplified sand swimmer
Simplified starfish
Boris sells ruff that's needed for the main storyline
Fixed a bug that allowed to create a seedbed with open inventory
We really hope you enjoy these updates! If you have any questions or encounter any difficulties, please post them on Steam discussions or on our Discord!
We've also started preparations for a small change in the game interfaces so that players on SteamDeck can see everything clearly. We hope that we will be able to release this update soon!
Thank you for being with us and have a nice day!
