New Sheepo Update Focusing on Accessibility and Performance!

I just added a new update for Sheepo! The main aims for the update were accessibility and performance. A big thanks to halfcoordinated for helping me out a bunch with figuring out some accessibility options for Sheepo!

addedI just added a new update for Sheepo! The main aims for the update were accessibility and performance. A big thanks to halfcoordinated for helping me out a bunch with figuring out some accessibility options for Sheepo! Here's a list of changes:
addedThere is a significant performance boost. Sheepo is not particularly "heavy", but I did hear some comments on performance in certain areas. The new update uses a more efficient compiler, and every room runs about 30-40% faster. If you have a faster computer, you probably won't notice any difference, but if the game ran slow for you in certain areas, hopefully this will fix that issue!
changedYou can change the music/sound effects volumes at more precise amounts now, rather than just on/off.
addedThere is an added "Photosensitive Mode" that removes any flashes and intense lights.
removedYou can remove text effects on dialogue
changedYou can display your health as a number instead of a color, since it was brought to my attention that the colors may not have enough contrast for people with colorblindness

I just added a new update for Sheepo! The main aims for the update were accessibility and performance. A big thanks to halfcoordinated for helping me out a bunch with figuring out some accessibility options for Sheepo! Here's a list of changes:

  1. There is a significant performance boost.

  2. You can change the music/sound effects volumes at more precise amounts now, rather than just on/off.

  3. There is an added "Photosensitive Mode" that removes any flashes and intense lights.

  4. You can remove text effects on dialogue

  5. You can display your health as a number instead of a color, since it was brought to my attention that the colors may not have enough contrast for people with colorblindness

  6. Two of the hardest bosses become slightly easier if you die against them enough times. This change only occurs on easy or normal mode, and it affects the "Grapple Gang" boss, and the "Slime Queen" boss.

  7. You can turn on "Auto Flying", where you can fly with the longbird by holding down the jump button rather than tapping repeatedly.

  8. And a bunch of tiny bugs have been fixed, and some small tweaks have been made based on other requests.

I will probably take a bit of time before releasing another update (unless anything new/major pops up), but in the meantime, please let me know if you have any requests or suggestions. Thanks so much! -Kyle
