changedI've seen several comments written about the camera being locked, the player can't turn around 360 degrees. This isn't a bug or a problem, it's a gameplay mechanic.
addedWhen walking down the corridor and you see the feet dragging, it adds to the psychological fear that the player has. It was my intention for the player to never know just how close she is in order to keep it scary. If the player had the ability to turn around and look down the hallway to see how close she is, it would break the illusion of her being even closer. It would possibly even make the camera switching mechanic gratuitous.

In the description, you read about how "you're too scared to turn around."

From the beginning, before I even started designing the game, I had this in mind and It's for a reason fundamental to the game and its unique features.

When walking down the corridor and you see the feet dragging, it adds to the psychological fear that the player has. It was my intention for the player to never know just how close she is in order to keep it scary. It would possibly even make the camera switching mechanic gratuitous.

That said, perhaps I can do an update in the future to where the player's camera only does the "lock" in certain areas of the game. Maybe the first room would be a 360-degree camera and some places outside. If this is an update you'd enjoy trying, let me know and I'll make it happen soon.

Thanks again!

David
