Queensguard’s resident Animator and Artist, Charlotte, had the pleasure of attending Develop Brighton this year! Weather wise it was a mixed bag, but as an event it was a great time as always.
This year, Queensguard showcased Shards Between Us at #RaiseTheGame’s Festival of Food Evening sponsored by UsTwo and Jagex. It was a real honour to be showcasing with the Code Coven booth where we represented Code Coven Alumni! The evening was amazing with so much delicious food! Pizza, Rice Bowls and Ice Cream Sandwiches all night… a Game Developer’s dream.
After many fantastic meetups on the beachfront, including a quick dip in the sea with the good sunshine, we had a table at the Brilliant Indie Treasures Showcase! Taking place in a bank after closing hours it was a surreal backdrop but incredibly wholesome experience. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces also exhibiting there.
A huge thank you to the Brilliant Indie Treasures team for organising such a wonderful event! I was really grateful to have such wonderful showcase neighbors too with Lost In Cult and Draknek & Friends either side. It was great to feel a strong sense of community especially with the tough times in the industry right now.
Thank you so much to everyone who gave our little Plant Puzzle Game a try! It was a pleasure to represent Queensguard at Develop:Brighton Events.
