shapez 2 - Looking Forward

Today we'd like to briefly go over some of the things we're working on and what you can still expect for shapez 2 this year.

Update 1.1

The next update for shapez 2 is coming very soon! We'll properly announce the release date of 1.1 next week, along with the changes, fixes and new content you can expect. The new content includes a new scenario that those of you who like a challenge are sure to enjoy. Additionally, we will also share something that stands out.

shapez 2 Puzzles

If you've played shapez 1, you may be familiar with the Puzzle DLC we released for it. It took the core mechanics of the game and turned it into a new, smaller experience by limiting your playing field. You had to use every trick you learned in the main game to produce a specific shape with just a handful of tiles available to you. Additionally, you could make your own puzzles and share it with the community.

We've also been working on puzzles for shapez 2, but it has evolved into something even cooler. We can't wait to share more about it - just not yet. You can expect the announcement in the latter half of this year.

Project 3

We're already working on our next big game that we can only refer to as ‘Project 3’ for now. Our team has grown quite a bit during the development of shapez 2, so we have big plans for this project. We haven't shared much of Project 3 yet, though when we’re ready we will make sure to share this with you.

While it's all a bit vague still, we wanted to share a little sneak peek of what's happening behind the scenes, as you've been asking about it! But for now, we'll see you next week with news about Update 1.1.
