Animation Issues & macOS Achievements

Hey everyone! This update addresses the achievements bug on macOS (you'll have to replay to trigger achievements) and adds new checks for video playback.

To find the log file after a crash:

  1. Right-click on Shale Hill Secrets in your Steam Library.

  2. Select Properties...

  3. Go to Installed Files.

  4. Click Browse (this opens the game’s install directory).

  5. Click on Saves Location shortcut.

  6. If the game crashed, the debug.txt file should be there.

  7. Email the file to support@love-joint.com.

If Animations Are Crashing: Try adjusting the game's refresh rate to match your monitor's. If not available, set it to "Free."

  1. In the main menu, click Settings.

  2. Go to Video Options.

  3. Choose Refresh Rate.

  4. Set it to your display's rate or "Free" if not available.

We're working on an alternative animation system to address these issues some players are experiencing. Thanks for your help and patience! We’re excited to smooth out these bugs and prepare the game for more content!
