FAQ

How can I opt-in to playtests?

Will I be able to talk about the playtest publicly?

  • Yes! We want to show off Shadowstone to the world, and we’d love your help in showing off what you’ve played!

When does the playtest begin and end?

  • The playtest will begin March 12 and conclude once the game launches in Early Access on Steam.

What platforms are supported during the playtest?

  • The playtest will be available on Steam (PC).

Will my progress from the playtest carry over into the live game?

  • No. We've no plans at this time for progress made during the playtest to carry over to the live game. At present, we’re looking to reset all player data at the conclusion of our testing period.

Will I be able to play solo during the playtest?

  • Absolutely! All encounters in our game can be played solo, if desired.

Will I be able to play with friends during the playtest?

  • Yes! As long as they have Shadowstone Playtest on their Steam library, they can join you and playtest the game via online multiplayer.

What if I have a question not listed in this FAQ?

We can’t wait to see many of you in the Sunderlands soon.
