addedNew Content:The Geological Eras Tour Update, Phase 1! In this update, 75+ new fossil specimen photos have been added to the Geological Eras Tour, in the Ediacaran through Cretaceous periods. This has added a significant amount of new content to SHADOWBOX's largest exhibit, and makes major headway in filling out the now 666-million-year-long hallway. Newly displayed fossil photos include Hallucigenia , Opabinia , and Anomalocaris in the Cambrian, multiple species of sea scorpions in the Silurian, the skull of Gorgosaurus and eggs of Troodon in the Cretaceous, Diictodon and friends in the Permian, skulls of the long-necked dinosaurs Camarasaurus and Diplodocus in the Jurassic, and a whole lot more!
addedEnhanced Features:Zoom function! Set by default to the middle mouse button, you can now zoom in while playing to get a closer look at your surroundings while in free walking and free camera modes.
fixedBug Fixes:Certain graphical settings should now be more consistently saved across play sessions.
addedFinal thoughts:This has been quite a busy summer, and much of what I've been working on over the last few months is destined for a major update that still lies ahead. In the meantime, I'm very excited to share the first batch of results from a great deal of specimen photography I've done recently. As I work on Phase 2 of the Geological Eras Tour update, please dive in and explore what's new, and then leave your feedback on the Steam forum so that your thoughts, ideas, hopes, and dreams for the future of this project can come true. Have fun!
