Mechanics
Implemented Dash mechanic:
A dash can be performed when the player moves right or left, is in the air, and presses and holds X.
A dash lasts for a maximum of 0.7 seconds.
Releasing the Dash button before it reaches the maximum duration will interrupt the Dash immediately.
The player can only dash once and resets every time the player stands on a platform.
A Dash can only be made in the normal dimension.
Increased the animation speed of the attack animation in the normal dimension by 15%.
The duration to stay in the Shadow dimension is no longer a random number between 8.25 and 10.25, but rather a fixed 9 seconds.
Standardized the hitbox of spikes to be the same as every other spike.
Power-ups
Hitbox of power-ups increased by 11.54%.
Changed the icon of Jump Impulse.
Power-ups now respawn after 3.5 seconds.
Power-ups now actually have names:
Double Jump: Allows Twilight to jump an additional time.
Light Shard: Grants a 1-up.
Darkness Dispersal: Removes a percentage of darkness. The higher the current darkness, the more it removes.
Jump Impulse: Shoots Twilight vertically.
- Speed BoostGrants increased movement speed for a short duration.
- Darkness Dispersalamount removed increased from 38% to 40%.
Other
Removed BGM intro of the loopable part, because it was causing a weird audio gap between the two soundtracks (intro and loopable files).
Bugfixes
Fixed an issue where the player would display the wrong sprite while utilizing the Jump Impulse power-up.
